Enriching The Lives of The Leaders of Tomorrow

Inspired by the timeless pursuit of knowledge, the library's second floor stands as a testament to the power of adaptability and innovation.

Parlett L. Moore Library

The project, situated on the second level of the library, posed a unique challenge as the library remained operational throughout the entirety of the construction phase. This required meticulous planning and execution to minimize disruptions to library patrons and staff. One significant aspect of the project involved the removal of preexisting elements such as glass partitions, flooring, and walls. In their place, new 8-foot partitions were erected, topped with wooden caps to enhance both structural integrity and aesthetic appeal. These partitions were strategically positioned to optimize the functionality and flow of the space, providing designated areas for various activities within the library. Moreover, additional electrical outlets and lighting were installed.

Close collaboration was maintained with the client's facilities team throughout the project, ensuring alignment with their goals and objectives. Overall, the project represented a harmonious blend of functionality and aesthetics, exemplifying successful collaboration and attention to detail.
