Before his illustrious career in construction and development, Bernard had the honor of playing professional baseball with the Kansas City Royals from 2001 to 2005. Following his athletic career, he pursued his passion for engineering, joining Con Edison as an Engineer. His career trajectory then took him to Hensel Phelps, where he served as a Project Engineer, and later to Rand, where he excelled as a Senior Project Manager.
